Our Guide, Marlon, translates for the Theatre Instructor

The company’s philosophy is that any child can be part of it regardless of how good they are at singing, dancing or acting. The point is to get them active in something positive and creative.

Their only requirement to stay in the theatre is to do good deeds.

Every time they meet. They start off by sitting in a circle and share what good deeds they did that  day.

If you ever felt like you couldn’t sing, dance, or act, you should go to Cuba and visit these kids. They were a good reminder that of course you can do those things.

After their show the kids came into the audience and garbed each of us to dance with them. This little girl picked me.

They all wanted to pose in photographs with us.

Some of the members of our group were very good at speaking Spanish and talked to them for a long time.

This boy was really excited about getting his picture taken.

This girl was one of the first girls to join when she was very little. Here she is singing a solo in English just for us.

Until next time, Peace & Love, Jennifer
